Factory handguard install hardware
« on: February 04, 2020, 06:40:26 PM »
I bought a evo carbine and it has an hbi handguard on it I'm not a fan of, I prefer the angled front of the stock one. So I bought a factory handguard from someone on reddit and after talking with him it looks like UPS messed with the package and lost the barrel nut, the ring, and the sling mounts. So I see that cz has a barrel nut on the spare parts page, but the ring is out of stock, do I need that ring or would I be okay without it? If any of you got any recommendations or advice on how I could solve my issue it'd be greatly appreciated.

The parts I'm referencing:

The ring centers and alighns the guard.  You can go to one of the big hardware stores and get teflon washer then cut the edge on one side down just to bang bang until you find one.  So many aftermarket stocks have been sold I bet someone here has one they would part with.  Post asking to buy one.

Well, you could swap forearms with someone who prefers a HBi over a stocker.

How long is your HBi forearm?
