Spring changes
« on: February 20, 2020, 01:38:08 PM »
My SP-01 is just about to reach the 30,000 round mark.  When one of my 75B's passed 30,000 rounds it began to stovepipe so I changed the extractor spring to restore reliable ejection.  I also noticed that the trigger pull had become much lighter in that gun so I changed the hammer spring as well.  I would like to replace those springs in the SP-01 as well as a preventative maintenance measure.  I have some extra springs made for the 75B.  Can I use a 75B extractor spring in the SP-01?  Are they the same spring?  And what about the hammer spring?  I have some wolff hammer springs made for the 75B.  Will these work in the SP-01 or is it a different spring?

There isn’t a difference in the extractor or any spring parts between the sp-01 and 75B models, at least from the factory, CZC or CGW parts catalogs.
