P-01 Omega cruchy trigger
« Reply #15 on: January 14, 2020, 05:40:41 PM »
I just picked up my new CZ 75 P-01 Omega Convertible, cleaned it, changed the de-cocker to Safety and took it to the range where I shot 160 rounds through it and was surprised to find the trigger pull was noticeably different than my CZ 75 full size Omega Convertible. It feels long and crunchy in single action mode. It would seem the Sear is catching, when looking at it from the rear of the cocked trigger. I can actually pull the trigger slightly, then let off, and the sear will stick and then drop after a couple of seconds! This doesn't seem right and probably has some defective or rough internals. I sent it back to the factory for warranty assessment.

bonjour, that's unfortunate. Nothing worse than buying a new one and finding out that it doesnt work correctly. I however had no such issues. Was it the slickest action I'd ever felt? No. It did work correctly though.
I have to be able to tinker with my guns though and hate the ones I cant. To me working on them is half the fun and I had every intention of cajunizing mine anyway.
I hope it works out for you.

Actually that should be an easy fix from CZ.  Swap some parts, send it back.  The harder problems on the Omega are the stacking in the second half of the pull.  These take time, knowledge and patience to work out.  I figure part of the attraction of CZ - and especially the Omega is working on them.  But its a double edged sword.  Without CGW CZ would be in trouble.

Thanks all. CZ fixed my gun with a warranty reply that read..
Work Performed: Adjusted fire control components. Function tested and test fired good.

It now is ALOT better, almost as buttery as my CZ 75B Omega full sized version. But I still prefer my full sized #91136 and don't conceal carry, so I am selling it on Armslist.
