Another Cz custom flat trigger question
« on: March 04, 2020, 06:26:51 PM »
Hello,

Been lurking a while before joining the forum, but I have a Shadow 2 with the cajun gunworks kit for the gun with the hand fit disconnecter.   Want to try the new Cz custom flat trigger but do not want to change my disconnecter because my reset it so sweet.  So will the new flat trigger work with my disconnecter,  I emailed CGW, and they replied basically they can not comment on Cz custom parts.

Thanks,  I know this trigger has been talked about alot just want to see if anybody is using it with the same setup as me with good results.

You could call CZ Custom and see what they think.

If you have an RRK disco installed, yes. if you do not have an RRK disco installed, no.

The CZC Flat DA/SA trigger requires a short reach or RRK disconector installed to function.
Will work for CZ pics! (including but not limited to all CZ clones)

The CZC Flat trigger does not have enough pre travel with any of my fitted CGW Type 3 disco setups to reset in double action. In single action, it works fine.

It works fine with the short reach and pre b discos from CZC.

Thanks, for the replies looks like I will be keeping the stock trigger doesnt seem worth it to buy another trigger and disconnecter,  when my reset is so small now with the CGW in.

I just put a pro kit in my s2 then saw the flat trigger. I thought, I must have that so I bought it with the disconnector.  I really liked the pro-kit disconnector but it was basically SAO.  The CZC disconnector wasn't bad but it wasn't as good.  I took the CGW sear from the pro kit and made it fit by moving the front face of the wing back. I need to try it out with bullets to make sure nothing bad happens. The trigger is really sweet though. Abt 2# SA with no creap and a short reset.

My S2 was tested successfully today.  Everything worked as it should. The trigger sits about 2# in SA and around 6# DA.  The reset to break is just over 1mm.  I only wish that the trigger was vertical when the hammer was back.

Is the DA reach shorter?
