Which is cheaper way to go?

I have an original P10C and want want to have one with an optic on it. My choices are to buy a P10C optic ready or have my original milled for an optic. Not sure what is the cheaper way to go. I have a P10 F and a P10S with optics on them already.

I know this is absolutely NO help but heck it's only $$$$, buy this send it out and get the slide machined for your optic of choice and then ya can go back and forth or sell your original slide! Your welcome,LOL

I prefer having the slide cut for a specific optic P10C's don't exactly bring top dollar on the used market. That said, this is a good time to sell.

My thoughts also, while the "Optic Ready" guns are nice, most of the factory options are not the best most robust setup. Although I think the CZ one is a better design than the Glock MOS system. I mean for us normal non-ninja operators they will probably be fine but I would much rather have a proven/tough setup! ANd Earl says it best, as awesome as P10c guns are, they are pretty darn cheap NIB so a used one isn't going to bring you much more than the extra slide I suggested! So with that said I would just save up buy the extra slide send it off and have both options available to you! Just a thought.

It cost me $50 to move to the P10C OR.  I have a shadow and TS with milled slides and can not change optics, I have found that having the plate systems is a better way to mount an optic. with the plate system, you are not married to just one optic.

That’s been my thinking, especially with the pace that optics keep modernizing.  I hope to get a CZ OR P10 soon.

I agree.  Now that I've used one shop for optics cuts, I'm tied to them to a degree for the availability of plates.  There's always a catch.

I had mine milled for an RMR. Recently changed to a Holosun 507C. No regrets here, it just depends on what mounting pattern you pick. What I do regret is having a 75 milled for a Vortex Viper as it didn't last(2x). I might consider a plate system or OR for a competition only gun, but not for carry.
