Never saw these before. Works out to $24 per hundred, which isn't bad. Interesting. Injection molded copper/polymer blend.

Not that brand??

I've got some bags of pistol bullets that look similar to those in color/texture (?).  Got them from Midway years ago.  Used them in the 9MM and .357 SIG.

No loading data back then, that I could find anyway.

No issues loading them.  Did the same things to the case that I did with lead or jacketed bullets as far as case prep/priming/powder charging, seating and crimping.

They fed/chambered fine in the M&P and XDM.

As I remember, accuracy was not great - but none of those pistols hold a candle to the groups I get with my CZs so it may not have been the bullets but rather the pistols that resulted in poor groups.

I was using AA#5 from my brother's stash left to me when he passed away.  Don't recall using other powders.

I did buy some .223 bullets (55 grains in weight but also much longer than a std. jacketed 55 grain .224" diameter bullet) and tried working up some loads with those.  I only recall using CFE223 in that effort and never got decent 25 yd. groups so I never shot them farther.  That was only in one AR15 and it did function normally, it just didn't shoot good groups with those bullets (I believe those were made in Australia, if I remember correctly.)  For these there was, again, no reloading data, so I measured bullet length and found it was pretty close to the 75 grain match bullets used in .223 Rem. loading.  So I started with that bullet's starting loads and worked up.  I figured the longer bullets meant more bullet in the case which reduced internal volume so I didn't even try standard 55 grain bullet powder charges.

At least this outfit has some reloading data on their web page.  Good luck with it.
I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

I haven't tried any frangible/lead free bullets yet.  I will say that at our monthly USPSA matches we have a regular law enforcement shooter that brings some frangible ammo to the match.  He shoots his duty 45 ACP with these frangible bullets.  I don't know much about them except they are the cleanest burning pistol cartridges I've ever seen.  The cases literally don't need to be tumbled, they look brand new inside and out after firing.  He states that they have lead free primers but I don't know with what powder?  I noticed them while picking up his brass after he shot and was baffled at how clean they were!

Sorry for the thread drift but your question reminded me about those frangible pistol cartridges.

Cheers,
Toby

I don't reload and haven't shot any of their rifle ammo.  I have tried their Inceptor ARX 9mm range and defense ammo in my P-07.  They do seem to burn exceptionally clean based on the lack of residue left behind in my gun.  I can't confirm if the primers are lead-free like the Federal Syntech... I thought they were normal primers, but can't find anything about it on their website either way.

The range ammo fed fine out of my gun, but something about the shape of the defense ammo was causing it to hang and misfeed the first round out of fully loaded 15-round magazines.  They have flutes in them for fluid channeling, maybe something to do with that.  Anyway I'll keep my 147 gr HST for carry ammo.

I didn't scientifically measure my POI with them, but I seemed to be hitting targets as usual at 10 yards where I normally shoot with my pistol.  I liked how clean it left my gun, and was thinking of buying some more of the range ammo for shooting steel, because at the local outdoor range where I do that, I still get some fragments splashing back at me occasionally when I shoot Federal Syntech.

I have some like that in 9mm I bought from Academy several years ago. Never fired any though, I just thought they were interesting.
