Some Bayonet Pix for these HARD time
« on: April 15, 2020, 12:23:05 PM »
Thought I’d show an overview of my growing bayonet collection, have a bunch more VZ58 bayonets but thought I’d take out my two best examples along with some others.

Left to right:
UZI
CZ Bren 805
Romanian AK (matching #s)
VZ58 Gen 5 (unissued)
VZ58 Gen 4 (unissued)

Just for the heck of it I've bought bayonets for the M1A, AR15, M1 Garand and M1917.

I keep thinking of taking a bayonet to the range, putting it on the rifle and firing some groups to see what effect it has on the rifle.  Just never think to grab one before I head out to the range.
I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

On certain firearms I’ve heard it can impact the zero a decent amount, VZ58s have this issue from what I hear.

Neat, thank you for the pics. The first bayonet that has caught my interest is the MAS36 bayonet. Maybe i will get into collecting them one day.
Will work for CZ pics! (including but not limited to all CZ clones)

It’s an addiction, I don’t even have an AK or Bren... yet. Also currently building the UZI

Nice! I have never seen the VZ58 gen 5 bayonet. I have the gen 4 but mine is nasty , dirty, and abused. Been wanting a nice example to look good on my rifle.

If you mess around with reddit, there is a listing of some really nice looking ones right now. I’d PM you but I don’t yet have those permissions.

M1918 Bayonet - 1952 (12" blade) for Schmidt-Rubin K31

WW2 era Fairbairn–Sykes fighting knifes:
Leather handled 6" blade is original Milbro Kampa; Ring grip pattern 7.5' blade is a reproduction;

The two knives in the second pic are really cool. Thanks for sharing.

^ thanks Gunnerdad80 - the Milbro Kampa was rather neglected until I recently realized what it was & when it was from (got it from my dad many year ago).
