CGW's Pro Package kits

I am thinking about purchasing the Pro Package kit (75210) for my PCR.

My question is: If I have a competent and experienced local gunsmith, would he be able to easily install the kit on my gun?

Has anyone gone this route on your own firearm before?

It's a simple job and easy enough to do yourself. You are really only taking it all the way apart and putting it back together.

I would agree, but the sear cage can be a challenge. I have a P-01 and installed the CGW defensive carry package. I spent 45 minutes on the sear cage alone. I also bought a couple extra springs and ended up using one of my extras after launching one into oblivion.

It always good to know your firearm. No better way to do this than full reassembly. 
First -> learn - YouTube videos are the best. You'll find out kit installation is not so complicated.
Second -> buy a magnetic bowl... and spare springs (good advice em44052)
Third -> do the job right, be patient

If you cannot perform one of these above - gunsmith is a great option.

I installed the Pro Kit in my P-01. I just watched the videos and polished the internals and it cam out awesome. The hardest part was the sear cage but with Patience's you can do it!

All great advice here. The only thing I would add is to pay close attention on the direction removing and installing the pins, especially the sear cage pin. I made the mistake of driving it out the wrong direction and the pin was walking out while firing. I had to add blue locktite to keep the pin from walking. Don't do what I did.
