I have two Shadow 2's and a Shadow 2 Orange. My S2's are pretty tight (no rattle), and the S2O is almost too tight. The S2O trigger is just a tad better in single action than the standard S2's, and the double action is pretty much the same on both models IMO, but the S2O does come with extra main springs, and that would change/lighten the DA pull. I hardly ever shoot in DA, so that was not that important to me.
I don't think the average range shooter will notice that much of an accuracy difference. For me, all three have outstanding accuracy. I bought the S2's first, and then later added the S2O. I had to have the best S2, so that meant an extra $700 over the standard S2. In hindsight, the S2O is fantastic, but the extra $700 might be better put to use in more ammo. The S2O is a 10; I would have to give my other S2's an 8.5-9.0.
