P01 SDP SIGHTS

Recently purchased a P01 SDP and love it.  But, these Heinie sights are very difficult to pick up with my 60 year old eyes.  Suggestions for something that will fit this pistol?

Depends on your preference, the intended use and overall condition of your vision. Big Dot sights and/or TFS sights have helped some people.
My choice has been red dots however, astigmatic problems can be an issue. I do have a See All sight on one of my shotguns and it works quite well with slugs and buck shot. I've seen these installed on handguns but have not tried it.

I'm going to give these a try as soon as CGW gets them back in stock.  Maybe they would work for you as well.

The CZ Custom SDP has a milled low mount rear so regular rear CZ sights may not work.

Give CZ Custom a call (480) 969-1311 and talk to Stuart, see what options they have available as far as a front sight to work with a low mount rear.

I have a CZ Custom Pro-Tek II with a low mount rear sight, I had CZ Custom change the rear low mount to a solid black and front sight to a 1.5mm front fiber optic.

Following this. That’s the only reason I have not purchase one. I’m on the fence currently.

Hello, I'm John.  You sent me a message about sights, not sure if you got my reply.

I absolutely love my P-01 SDP, except for the sights.  They just aren't bright enough for my 72 year old eyes.

I didn't think I would be able to use the rear sight due to the low mount Heinie sight milling.  Triax60 verified that with his drawings.
But the orange front sight, standard CZ 75 height, seems to be the same as my dull sight on the P-01.
I have just about convinced myself to risk the $80 and try it.  I can paint a bright center stripe on the existing Heinie rear sight.
