I never expected to like the striker design after years with steel hammer guns, but I do. My P-09 has been my standard for handgun accuracy for many years, during which I have made a dozen 100-200 yard demonstration videos to show what the design was capable of producing. I got my P-10C when they first came out, and it wasn't quite up to the P-09/07 long distance accuracy. But the P-10F has been as good as the P-09 since it came out of the box. I've adapted to the trigger, and quite like its feel now. I've also had some excellent results with the P-10S lately.
But today was the best day of shooting at 100 yards that I have ever had. So good that I wasted a lot of time trying to choose what would make a video worth watching. I decided to show the P-10F on steel hanger, shot first from a rest, and then single hand seated. Here is that video...
https://youtu.be/v2awtKCRhRwThe second video took a little longer to edit so was published second, shot first. This is a 10 shot target from the wrist rest at 100 yards. I knew it was good, but was pleasantly surprised to see that the last eight shots resulted in a group slightly smaller than my best 100 yard rest target with the P-09. I never thought I would be able to match the P-09 results with any pistol at any cost, much less improve on it. Here is that video...
https://youtu.be/K-QEi_w6tHkI think I'll shoot a rifle on Saturday, then back to the P-10F (and P-10S) on Sunday, maybe at 200 yards. Maybe.
This is fun. This is not easy.
