So on Friday, I had my best day ever at 100 yards with the P-10F, on paper and on steel, so I took Saturday off and went to the range again on Sunday morning. No one else there, so I set up at 200 yards and shot 10 sighters. Adjusted the aim point elevation and put up targets 1 and 2 and homed in on the aim point location. Put target 3 up covering the target 2 holes, and shot 10 more rounds. Here is the video of those 10 shots, viewable around 5:15 MDT, I hope.
https://youtu.be/kLpwnPwkcJMMy expectations were a little ambitious so I didn't quite zoom out enough on the video to catch the two shots just out of frame low, but this went well. One of these days I'll get 10 of 10 on a B-8c target. But I thought 3 hits in the black was pretty good for today.
A reminder--this P-10F barrel has the roughest groove machining I've ever seen. Maybe there is a CZ secret there somewhere? Looks completely different from my P-09 barrels but shoots identically, which is to say, it shoots perfectly. I really like the striker trigger for this demonstration. I still can't believe this kind of accuracy is possible with a striker service pistol.
The limitation at this distance is how well the shooter can duplicate the dot placement from shot to shot. The very tiny and crisp Holosun red dot is perfect for this. I don't think 71 is the optimum age for this endeavor, however. Still, I'm pretty happy with this result.
