A quick fifty through my DAO PX4 Compact.

Got to stop through the house for a few hours earlier and have been wanting to shoot my newly DAO-converted PX4 Compact, especially since getting the Ameriglo CAP front sight installed, so out to the backyard I went. It was worth the wait!

Set up at 10 yards/30 feet and proceeded to run three mags of 147gr Blazer Brass through it; 15 rounds, 17 rds, and finally 18 rds rapid fire. Not as tight as others shoot but I’m pleased with it for being an impromptu, rushed range session.

Really looking forward to having more free time to shoot, and for this particular family member, my custom holster from DME to arrive so that I can finally carry it with a light mounted.

Nice job, I see you use recycled targets, go green. I had a PX4 Compact in 40 once, interesting little pistol.

Are the decocker levers just for decoration now or do they do anything?

Just decorations since there’s no factory slick side “D” configuration for the compact like the full-size model.

Thanks. I'm a fan of DAO autos and similar triggers, particularly for defense. I have a full-size PX4 and have converted it to "G" config. Soft-shooting, reliable pistol. My daughter shoots it far better than I so it's basically hers.
