CZ Shadow2 Grip
« on: July 12, 2020, 04:31:18 PM »
I have small issues with Mag release rubbing my left thumb. I shoot right handed left eye now since right eye has issues now. What do any of you do? Change grip or use smaller mag release? I have seen gas pedal on slide stop but don’t know if that is good idea. Plus the ones I have seen are only in Europe no one sells them here that I’ve seen. Just wanted others input on this issue . Not problem on other CZ or any other pistol I have
Thanks

I ordered one of the thumb rest slide stops earlier this week. It should be here Monday or Tuesday.
I'll put it through the paces and let you know how it does and if it poses any problems with the slide locking open.
Since the rest is right on the pivot, so I don't think it will, have enough leverage to effect anything, but I plan on running at least a dozen mags through it to test it out.

I got gas pedal slide stop in this week. I ran 200 rounds through it this afternoon to hot for anymore. Works great doesn’t hold slide from staying open after last round works as supposed to. Makes thumb little sore got soft my old age I guess but works great. Happy with purchase
Thanks

My thumb rest slide stop came in the mail yesterday.
Installed it last night and like the feel of it, but haven't had the chance to try it out with live ammo yet.

I have a similar grip.  My support thumb is basically even with the roll marks on the side of the slide, well past where the thumb rest would be.
