Need help identifying this SP-01

Guys, a friend introduced me to a person selling what he says is an SP-01 Shadow (second hand)

It looks like a Shadow, it has the fiber optic front sight and comes with 3 mags, but the markings on the slide only say "CZ 75 SP-01".





I'm worried the seller might be passing off a regular SP-01 as a Shadow.

Problem is I don't know how to attach images on this forum.

Any opinions?

Pin is there for the firing pin block... not a Shadow.

Nope, not a Shadow. Judging from the slide damage around the firing pin retaining pin, I bet they deleted the firing pin block to make it "the same" as a Shadow. It isn't. Judging by the pic, that gun has seen some hard use.

What would the price difference be between a Shadow and an ordinary P-01?

Street price on an SP-01 is usually 599 or less.

You can only get a basic Shadow 1 from CZC (or second hand) and outside of sales they occasionally run they go for 880.

I would be very leery of this bubba'd SP-01 personally.

Yes, I am as well. The seller modded it with a trigger job and a new recoil spring but I think I will pass on this one.

I don't see much need for a regular SP-01 since I'm happy with my 75-B. Oh well.
