Saturday afternoon tinkering
« on: September 05, 2020, 04:13:25 PM »
I'm on call for the holiday weekend, decided to repair and modify a 10/22 that had a cracked stock. I saw an M1 Carbine kit at a local shop, already had a set of Tech Sites from a build that never happened. Now I can shoot a close analog of my M1 Carbine and not worry about breaking the real one.

Below my 1943 (1947 arsenal updated) Underwood M1 carbine.

Sweet! I've thought about doing one of those for years but haven't found the right 10-22 donor yet. Thanks for posting those pics of the real M1 next to the 10-22. It makes me want to do one even more now.
No matter where you're going, there you are.
