Sling/carry of the Scorpion
« on: July 24, 2024, 10:07:05 AM »
How, exactly, did CZ envision slinging/carrying the Scorp?
It's an ongoing problem with modern arms; since the AUG eliminated the integral optic, there's no easy way to carry one.  Loss of the carry handle caused the same problem for the AR platform.
How do yinz boys carry your Scorp?
And, the related question, how did CZ themselves sling the Scorp?  All the extant threads are 120+ old.
I've currently got the quick detach that goes through the hole at the rear of the receiver; it currently blocks stock removal.
It seems I've got to be missing something obvious.
For a gun that feels so ergonomic on the shoulder, the Scorp is one clumsy thing to handle.

Single point sling bungee (HK style), clipped to a paracord loop going through the rear sling hole.

I don't sling it a lot, though.
