Odd engraving on CZ52 slide, any Cuban history buffs around?

Hello all,
happy to join the forum and looking forward to any speculation as to what this pistol's history (if any) was. I just recently picked it up in a consignment sale somewhat impulsively and noted it had been engraved by hand at some point with the Cuban coat of arms and the script "MININT", save for that its a run of the mill 1953 cz-52 imported by CAI in good nick. Has anyone come across anything similar?

MINIT means "Ministry of the Interior" so I would guess that someone who was at least semi-important owned that particular gun.
Assuming the engraving was actually done in Cuba then that might be worth a bit more than your typical CZ.
