Odd engraving on CZ52 slide, any Cuban history buffs around?

Hello all,  ;D happy to join the forum and looking forward to any speculation as to what this pistol's history (if any) was. I just recently picked it up in a consignment sale somewhat impulsively and noted it had been engraved by hand at some point with the Cuban coat of arms and the script "MININT", save for that its a run of the mill 1953 cz-52 imported by CAI in good nick. Has anyone come across anything similar?

MINIT means "Ministry of the Interior" so I would guess that someone who was at least semi-important owned that particular gun.

Assuming the engraving was actually done in Cuba then that might be worth a bit more than your typical CZ.
