I know there is a shortage on all common ammo. I am just not seeing any .45ACP around at all. Even with the more sought after 9MM being in higher demand you can luck into a box now and then. Can you just imagine how this will be if the election goes the wrong way?

$393 1k rounds of Blazer brass shipped. No tax.

Yeah, didn't the previous administration close down the last lead smelting plant in the US, down in Missouri or Mississippi?  I remember people saying then it would both drive up the cost of lead, decrease the availability and drive up the cost of ammo.  But that was probably the intent.  Like buying up millions of rounds of ammo for various federal departments that had no need to carry guns/ammo in the first place.

Casting 230 grain LRN bullets for a .45 is pretty easy.  We used to get guys together in college on a pretty day and set up to cast/size/lube and have a good time sitting around the table (3 sides of the table, fan was on the other side sucking the air/fumes out the window) talking while we made bullets.
I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?
