I’ll let you know.... Just sold my Glock 23 and then purchased a Tristar/Canik C-100 to replace it. I currently have a Shadow 2 and an SP-01 that gets most of my range time, dry firing, and the Shadow 2 gets competition time. So, I’m going to try a DA/SA for carry.

Kind of easing into it by puchasing a budget CZ clone. Hasn’t shipped to my FFL as of yet.

However, there isn’t a CZ that can replace my Glock 43. The size, loaded weight, and concealability really make it an excellent choice for me for edc. It’s great with shorts and a t-shirt, or in a belly band while jogging, or if I need to pocket carry, I can make that work.

Looking forward to the C-100 as part of my carry options.

So far the C-100 has been great. Reliable with two types of target ammo and my carry ammo in two range sessions. No issues. Just picked up a holster and ordered new grips. One more range session without issue and it goes into the rotation.

Feels better in hand than my G23 and more accurate on paper. Previously owned a G19 and just didn’t warm up to it. I seem to shoot the full size Glocks 17/22 better than the compacts, and I shoot my G43 better than I did with the 19 or 23. Something about the compact Glocks just wasn’t right for me. So far the Compact CZ clone seems just right.

Got a CZ P-07 for EDC because the specs were just about the same as the G19. After having shot both along with the M&P 2.0 compact, I found that they're all excellent but only one has DA/SA.  I wanted to carry appendix and having the heavier double action first makes me feel better about not having a negligent or accidental discharge.  For a defensive handgun, I try to keep the gun as close to factory as possible, so the G19's advantage of aftermarket support didn't sway me.  The P-07 has decent aftermarket support too, since there's a bit of crossover with the P10 and P-09.

I have been carrying a PO1 Omega for a while now as my daily carry, the only mod being my custom mag bases installed on Mecgar  17 round mags to increase my round count, I am not trying to hide it so I don't care about printing.

I replaced my Glock 19 and 26 with a CZ P07 and a Rami BD.  Both CZ's are far more accurate than my Glocks were and feel better in my hand the only down side I can see is the cost of CZ magazines. After much shooting and a couple spring changes my CZ's have 7 lb. D/A triggers and clean S/A triggers around 4 lb. or less what's not to like. Many of my shooting buddy's have changed their Glocks barrel, trigger, sights and many other parts to try and make their pistols shoot as well as my CZ's. My Rami is my EDC pistol 90% of the time the other 10% I feel well armed with my only compact striker fired pistol a Sig P365.

Could it be your shooting buddies just don't shoot as well as you?

One of my buddies once said to me "I wish my Berretta 92 shot as accurate as your SP-01"
I said give it to me for a minute.....wah lah it did when I shot it.

Just sayin'

Any stock CZ with a safety and/or external hammer is a safer design than any stock Glock.  I think you'll also find the CZ more accurate and ergonomic.

This is a pretty hard pill for me to swallow. I'm pretty sure you still have to push the trigger on a Glock for it to fire. What makes any CZ a safer design than any Glock?

I may just need a lesson in design safety.

Happy to oblige.

The short, roughly 5.5-lb trigger pull of the Glock pushes inadvertently far more easily than the long, roughly 10-lb double-action trigger pull of the CZ carried in condition 2 or its roughly 6-lb single action trigger which is unmoveable when safety locked if carried in condition 1.

Simple physics, which has something to do with why there are so many stories about affirmatively safetiless Glocks being negligently discharged.

CZ-75D PCR Compact is what I carry. Would also consider the P-01 or P-07 configured with the decocker.

I carry a CZ-82.  I ride.  I wear fairly heavy gloves.  The CZ82 is the only pistol I have found specifically designed with heavy gloves in mind.  It pocket carries easily.  It comes standard with polygonal rifling, which is a more consistently accurate design.   It covers all of my EDC needs.

As far as a Glock 19, well I am biased against any striker fired pistol with a light trigger and nothing better than a drop safety disengaged by the same action as a trigger pull.  This design is IMO an OC hard holster configuration and cannot fill all the roles I require.   Sure, I’d use a Glock, but not CC and not with soft holsters.  It’s a limited design in my view.  Absolutely wonderfully designed for military or police work but not so much for some civilian roles.

I'd take my CGW P-10C over a Glock any day of the week.

Not bashing Glock, but the P-10C is a better gun, imo.
