What is dusty about Sport Pistol powder I've just started using it and haven't noticed anything what am I missing ?

That's a fair question. I have zero issues with it.

I don't know how to explain it besides it seems dustier than other powders. It meters well, but If you miss a primer or get powder on the shellplate it can get in smaller crevaces than some of the ball or kernel powders.

newageroman you may be right I noticed a build up of fine powder under my shell plate. It was causing friction on the shell plate and keeping my xl750 from indexing all the way until the primer punch came up. I normally tear the xl650 and xl750 down and clean everything every 5,000 rounds I my need to clean out under the shell plate more often now that I'm using Sport Pistol.
