that defiantly sounds suspect. Thanks for providing details.

Here are some dummy rounds (no powder or pirmer) I would try, and it might be helpful to reference/send them if you do contact CZ about it.
Try plunking a sized/belled,crimped case, withought the bullet (and powder obviously) - I would expect this would plunk no problem. This would eliminate the Crimp/bell issue that reloades might suspect.
I would also try continually seating the bullet further down in the case until it DOES plunk correctly, Most likely the beginning of the ogive will be under the case mouth - not ideal.
I might even try loading a bullet upside down so the flat base is just above the casemouth and see when that plunks - the square edge might be a better visual of where the leads come in vs. a curved ogive bullet.
