Why are CZ-75 Kadet magazines so expensive???

I tried the plastic mag in my kadet 2 on aCZ85. I did a lot of trial and fit. I does not come close to working. By the time I got the mag to seat and lock in, the mag would not hold a cartridge.

I'd have to see the two, side by side
Don't own a Shadow 2, so I couldn't speak to the difference(s) (if any) in (say) Grip Angle or Mag Release location, in respect to the CZ75 Shadow or any other 75 Variant and their respective Magazines   
If I did have a Shadow 2 Magazine and a KADET Magazine, I'd be "Micing" every possible variable

Have over 20 Kadet 2 Mags for four different 75 Kadet 2 conversions and one for a Shadow 2.  The one thing that I will say about the Kadet 2 mags is that they are much tougher than the average 22 mag and they last longer.  Have only had one go bad in half a decade of using them in routine action competition.  Most of the people I compete with use Ruger, Browning, or 1911 conversions.  They replace their mags every year or so. 

The only thing I have to do is clean them after each match.
