Looked at the video closer. Seems the spring leg is in the right place. I have no idea then. Nothing against mcarbo, but I would have used the cgw springs also.

Put the stock sear spring back in.
We seem to have a winner. I put the stock sear spring back in last night and magically the decocker works again. With the slightly larger diameter wire factory sear spring in place, it seems to force the decocker spring into a more natural position.
I'd like to play with more combinations, for science, but I have no desire to reassemble this sear cage even one more time.
