Are there any recommended parts to keep on hand for the 457?

I just bought a 457 in 22lr! Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, still waiting on the scope.

With most firearms I like to keep a few sets of whatever parts are known to wear or need periodic replacement. For example, recoil springs, slide stops in the case of 75's, maybe an extractor and some extractor springs, a couple roll pins, etc.

I can't find any recommendations for the 457 series of rifles. Is this because firearms like these just don't need periodic parts replacement the way a lot of semi-autos might?

Nothing that I know of that is a known/recurring issue.

What scope, rail and rings are you going with?

You can only change bolt knob and make some parts more smooth using sandpaper and metal polish paste - It`s everything you need in this rifle

I went with the Leupold FX-I 4x28 Rimfire scope, and some medium height Leupold rings that'll mount directly to the 11mm rail (sku 54231).

Extra magazine comes to mind first. I misplaced my magazine and had to wait a week for delivery of a new one before I was able to go shooting again.  Other than that and some specific allen wrenches and a Klein shorty screwdriver with 4 different heads I can't think of anything else. My 457 is pretty much bullet proof!

If you haven’t changed the trigger spring for a lighter weight one. Then I suggest you think about it.  For $10 or less you can really bring down the trigger weight.
