@DenStinett, you’re right about the shadow 2 Kadet kit being made of aluminum. I got confused on that one.

I just saw the shadow 2 Kadet conversion for $429 and I’m not sure if that’s a great price compared to what I can get by waiting for the Ruger MKIV Lite.

Not saying anything against a Ruger MkIV
But the true beauty of a "Conversion Kit" over a seperate, whole Pistol (i.e. a MkIV), is the added Trigger Time you get on your Host Lower
Same Trigger Pull, Reset, etc
Not having ANY experience with the "Shadow 2 KADET", I can't speak to ITs accuracy
BUT, knowing the CZ75 KADET; its design lends itself to make IT, a VERY accurate Pistol
There are several Members here that have ditched their other .22s, and now compete with their KADETs
Go back and watch some of JoeL's Videos with His KADET
Very impressive !

I have kadet kits for my p-07 and 09. Worth every penny if you like to go to the range and get trigger time with your CZ collection. Your draw stroke, aiming and pull remain the same. When you switch over the first few rounds of 9mm quickly reminds you of what you need to do with recoil management, and the muscle memory you developed with the mentioned mechanicals is still there.

I have the cmmg AR conversion as well, without those I would have to limit my range time. Your other alternative is dry firing or laser insert firing. I do the laser insert when seated in my easy chair between commercial breaks towards a 4"x 4" Bose speaker cube. And since I squireled away 10k of .22lr since the last big panic ammo buy out, I have a lot of range time ammo.

Anyone know if they make a kadet kit for the p-10c yet? I have been looking around for one and have seen no evidence that it is in production.

According to CZUB, not yet
Just these Kits for now:
CZ75, Shadow 2, SP-01, P-07 and P-09

Are there any plans for a P-01 (i.e. shorter) Kadet 2 model? Anyone know? Would be interested in order to maintain holster compatibility.

The Kadet is a fine option if it works--my P-07 kit shoots several inches high with every load I've tried.  Also, make sure that you use the correct slide stop when switching back to your centerfire upper.  I mixed them up and the gun kept locking open under recoil--not a good thing to happen in a match.

Thanks for the tip about the X-grip.  That gap would've annoyed the heck out of me.
WTB PM if you got any for sale:
CZ 75 SHORT RAIL (factory blued)
CZ 75 PRE-B (factory blued).

I have an X-grip on one of my metal magazines (not the plastic one shown above).  It looks cool, but...

I noticed that the magazine with the x-grip does not lock in very well.  This happens when the x-grip rides up on the magazine by a small fraction of an inch as the magazine goes in, and keeps it from locking in. It takes a sharp rap to overcome that. (I guess that's why some have those pesky set screws)

Aside from that, it works fine and provides a nice rest for my pinkie and some breathing room for the rest of my fat fingers.

Not sure, but a taller Front Sight Blade will help with that issue
