I have the CZCustom trigger on my carbine and the stock trigger on my PDW. Honestly, I understand why people diss the stick trigger because it’s heavy and has relatively long pull. But with a red dot I’m getting very small groups at 25 and 50 yards with the stock trigger even when shooting quickly. Preferences may differ but I would think if you lighten up the trigger with the HBI kit you will be happy. (I may do the same but like I said ... the thing performs just fine as is in my opinion.) The thing I’m looking into is to reduce recoil with a better muzzle brake.

Copy that!

Got a semi decent deal on an Ascalon trigger. Looking for an HBI trigger spring kit next.

Do SOMETHING to improve the stock trigger.  I did the HBI kit at first, then went and did the CZ Custom trigger.  Really happy with the trigger.  I run two charging handles.  The factory one on left side and the extended Manticore on right.  Love the yetiwerks avalanche mag release can go ak style or just use your fingertip and ambidextrous too!  It's really the teetz.  The HBI ak safeties are cool.  LOVE that they partially obstruct trigger access on safe so you KNOW what to do to shoot by feel.

I have an HBI AK safety on mine and not only do they look cool, they are very functional. Operates with your index finger with very little effort. Well worth the cost.

Another cheap upgrade I think made mine alot better is a simple cheap yet sweet pakse sapper forgrip.  There's more expensive ones out there. Can't recall if they made any for the carbine lengths tho. But if ya own the pistol variant I'd suggest that also. And as far as red dot I used the sig romeo 5 also at first. Then later put a eotech on it instead just for funsies more than anything tbh lol. Just got the romeo 4h for another build I'm doing. And found out it has multi reticles and a bdc also too. Along with a quick release. Not shabby. I'm liking it alot so far. And I used a riser to boost it up some. And I can peek under it to run the irons if needs be. There's better risers out there but it's the one academy had for sale and it suits mine well enough. Then as far as lights n lasers go. I bought a used sight mark combo that's similar to a Dbal setup and I can toggle them with my left hand while gripping. I ran it stockless for a long while and used a "push" method to fire it and it was pretty stable using that alone imo. But later put a brace on a factory folder with a brace adapter insert. Still have alot to do yet but keep getting sidetracked with other builds. I'll show ya what I have so far if it helps any. Really want the cz75 grip kit but yeah good luck getting those lol

Hey, Hugh.

I got a 75B more than 10 years ago as my first home defense gun.

Then as covid hysteria hit I decided I could afford something better (and what's better than a CZ75B? A Shadow 1 of course).

Then as hysteria hit a little more, I decided I needed a CCW, which, we have to admit, a Shadow is good for everything except maybe that, so I plunked some cash for P10S. I would have gotten a P10M but CZ couldnt crack the mag barrier that SiG and Springfield did with the 365 and the Hellcat.

So here I am waiting for my Evo carbine... With every mod part you could think of except for a new stock...

Lol. Yep I carry the p365 xl for that very reason. It's hands down the perfect carry platform so far because of the high cap mags in such a little gun. And it comes out of the box with all ya need already on it. The flat trigger is really nice. But as far as range toys I still prefer hammer fired steel pistols. The phantom so far is still my fave even tho it's polymer. Feels like a steel gun in hand when loaded tho. The tactical sport line.. the tactical sport 2 lineup.. shadow.. and oranges are all still on my must have list tho lol. Soon as I see any locally I'm gonna get em. Been sidetracked buying n building rifles etc lately with all the ban noise going on. About finished getting ready for all that tho and can circle back and finish my list for pistols lol. Nice collection so far bud

I said no to the 365 and 365XL because of

a) the price tag (more than $1775 for a 365XL over here!!!!)

b) that bleep rail - it wont accept anything except a Lima green laser and a TLR specifically made for SIGs.

Yep ya hit that nail right on the head. Why they did that.. and still haven't changed it yet.. is beyond me. Would be different if they made an adequate choice of light systems.. with higher power lumens etc.. and light laser combos. But that's where I agree they failed. But.. there's two more options tho. First being to replace the grip module with one with a standard rail. I haven't shopped any yet because I prefer mine with just tritiums alone and no light just to keep things smaller because I do construction work and bigger isn't better when at work doing that sort of stuff. I do admit I'd like to throw a light on it when going out at evenings and night tho to stores n stuff tho. That would be nice. But second option is to buy the recover tactical rail adapter. It's a little 3d printed rail clamp that converts it to standard picatinny. But yeah it's a major pain in the.. yeah lol. Maybe cz can make something that has the best of both worlds. I'd carry that in a heartbeat lol

Pretty sure SIG did that intentionally to milk the aftermarket parts market.

SIG boasts that they maximize modularity on their weapons. But as long as only they make the modules, well...

There are people who make 1913 to SIG rail adapters but they add so much bulk on such a small pistol.

Yep. They also waited to release the "x" series later. Where they offered the slide of an xl and the grip of a standard 365. In a video they even said they waited on purpose so everyone would basically go buy another. The audacity lol
