I'm loving this little CZ rifle. I struggled with a Savage FPV for several years and finally gave up on it. It was never consistent or predictable, I made some progress with it, but all it took was 20 rounds through my shooting buddy's MTR and I immediately ordered one. I'm not disappointed. The Savage will be a great rifle for the grand kids, but I'll never shoot it again.
All I've done to the MTR is put a good FFP Diamondback 4-16x scope and 15 moa rail on it, a Harris bipod, and a cant level. Up until last week, I had been using the 9-13" Harris bipod from the Savage on the MTR. Too tall for both rifles, it turns out. I finally ordered a 6-9" Harris for the MTR, tried it once, and immediately ordered another one for my .308 and AR-15. I had been struggling with getting high enough over the shooting tables to be able to use tall bipods and it was not comfortable. With 3" taken out of the over table height, I am very comfortable behind the rifle and not straining to get centered on the scope or get the rear bag in to position. What a great change, and it was inexpensive. I kept the taller bipod for down slope prone as needed, but I am no longer married to it.
Full disclosure--I'm primarily a pistol shooter, and shoot the rifles for diversion and education.
So, my groups tightened up about 1/2" with the bipod change. I'm still working on consistent preload and pull in to the shoulder. I may make a small change to the scope eye relief as the lower elevation of the rifle lets me place my head slightly closer to the sight.

I've borescoped the bore and the machining is excellent, the barrel cleans up very quickly, and the stock is beautiful, especially to someone used to plastic and aluminum chassis rifles.
