VV and 38 super

VV 3n38 kicks *** in 38 super. Loading 8.9 gn with a BMB 127 TC lead HiTek coated and Acme 122 gn TC lead HiTek coated.

Both Very accurate at 15 yds.

Up next is VV n105 “magnum powder” with the same bullets. I better hold tight and it’s LOUD!

No crono testing yet due to shooting indoors.  Going to ask if I can set one up.  Using book loads.  Still have ten fingers and both eyes.

Try VV N340 and 350.  Both did very well for me with the 124gr RMRs.  Accuracy was great and VV N340 really made a difference on the Comp as did VV 3N38.  Extreme Spreads were better with VV N340.

Good luck.

Thanks and I will, when I can find some.  Local reload shop had n37, n38 and n105 at a great price so I cleaned them out.  N37 is accurate but n38 works the comp better.  Loading n105 tonight.  Be nice to run them through the crono.  Also loaded BE86 and Silhouette.  Great accuracy but much smaller charge hence more muzzle bounce, but not much more.

8.9gn of N105 probably does not make major power factor

You are correct about major PF.  I bumped n105 to 9.6 with a 127gn.  All I’m shooten are tin cans on the fence rail.  Yep, sure sends them flyen.  Nice puff of smoke from them holes at the muzzle.
