Don Hume leather Mag pouch stretched .

Hey guys, I had a couple of extra clip-on Don Hume leather mag pouches for my S&W single-stack 45acp.
I love these pouches but wanted to get one for my double-stack mag for my P - 09.
I took one of the single stack leather mag pouches soak it in hot water for about 2 minutes, covered my loaded double stack P - 09 mag with a plastic bag and forced it into the leather mag pouch slowly.
It's stretched out nicely. Using a double 00 BB . I pressure formed another indent in the leather that helps hold the mag. Works great.
Now I have the mag holder I like for a double-stack MAG👍.
EDIT : now that I think about it that may be a great advantage to having single stack leather because at some point you can stretch it out for double stack if need be.

Yep. Leather is very accommodating that way. For future reference, add a drop of dishwashing soap to break the surface tension of the water.
