ambidextrous safety for cz 75b
« on: April 10, 2021, 11:00:59 AM »
help,

I purchased a cz75b a couple years ago.  I love the gun, but wish it had a ambidextrous safety.  I just checked out a parts list and it appears there is a lefty safety, but i will shoot with either hand, and i feel amby is preferred to right or left.

Anybody been here,

Without serious machining, the only way you'll get an ambidextrous safety on a 9mm 75b is to buy a 40S&W model (good luck with finding one) or a SAO model.

I wasn't born in America, but I got here as fast as I could.

My stainless version of the 75B in 9mm has an ambidextrous safety. Being a lefty one of the things that put me off the 75 pistols was you don't just add an ambidextrous safety to them.

Ok, my fear has been confirmed, and indeed am in the Hunt for a 40s&w.

Thanks for the input

IF you would consider a decocker I believe the BD models are easy to procure the left and right side levers and convert to ambi. I did it on my 97BD when I had it.

My 75B is a 9mm Omega model.
Stock setup is ambidextrous Decock.

It can be easily converted to ambidextrous safety.  Parts and instructions are included.  :)

Again; this is only for the Omega model, 9mm included.
