Walther P38 AC 44
« on: April 27, 2021, 07:01:28 AM »
While picking up a beautiful Ithaca 1911 A1 at the LGS, I asked them abt a WWII P38 I saw in their catalogue

https://www.lagardere.ch/images/fichiers/catalogue202012.pdf

Turns out they had 4

I picked up the one made by Walther for $ 985.-

The German trio with the 1936 Mauser made Luger and the 1944 FN GP35

Then I remembered I also have a 1939 Walther PPK, I think it fits in the group

So I had to shoot them at a little themed range day

Very very Nice Collection you have there!  8)  :)  Congratulations on the acquisition of your AC44 Walther P38!

I also have a WWII AC 44 Walther P38 and an S/42 1936 Mauser made Luger, both of which were re-blued before I got them.  Both are still very shootable.
I did however, put new Springs in the P38 to keep it operational.  I also have two Post-War pre-P1 P38's and a German Made Walther PPK/S .380.

AC44 Walther P38 and S/42 1936 Luger

Walther PPK/S .380 and Browning BDA .380
