Broken cover plate screw

When removing a optic plate screw from my PDP optic plate, it broke off. Not enough to grab with pliers. I started drilling, with a plan to use a bit made to remove broken screws. I stopped soon thereafter to avoid damage. Any advice on a gunsmith/machine shop to send my slide to fix this? I don’t know of any local gunsmiths. Thank you. (Walther PDP)

I'd give Primary Machine a call and get their thoughts on it. That's definitely the type of job that will require a very good bit and a drill press to maintain straightness.
