VZ58 barrel journal dimention (chamber end)

Hi all,
I've been looking all over for the dimentions of the chamber end journal for a VZ58 barrel. I've found the diameter of it, but not the length. Anyone have that number handy?

 Nobody? I dont need a super precise measurement. Within a few thousandths would work. Or, if anyone knows the length of the corresponding area of the receiver. Looking for a barrel for a project and a VZ58 barrel looks like it would probably work, but would hate to buy a new one to find out I was wrong. If anyone had a stub they didnt need, Id be intersted.

Ok, I got the info needed. Looks like these barrels would work for my project. My new dilemma is where to find one. Any ideas on that? Only found a couple places that sell them (or did so in the past), and of course they're outa stock, just like every other bleeped barrel in existence right now. Anyone know a source for scrapped barrel stubs from demilled rifles? If I had a stub, I could actually test fit my project and know with certainty.  Surely these things are floatin around out there. I know I have a pretty good selection of them from all my kit builds. Anyway everyone have a great weekend!!

None instock any any of them. Hard times right now I guess.

Well, take that back, Numrich had a barrel and receiver stub attached. Then Apex had a barrel with a Century receiver attached. But, if Im gonna buy a full barrel, I'd prefer to wait and get a virgin barrel and get what I need. Was hopin to find a scrap barrel stub cause it would be cheap and suffice to fitting.

Pretty sure Apex had OE barrels, at least in parts kits, and a la carte receiver stubs available last I looked.  Never hurts to email them and inquire about individual OE barrel availability.
