Measuring Groups
« on: September 03, 2021, 06:21:28 PM »
Do you measure your groups from the outer edge of your farthest bullet holes and that's your group size.

Or do you use that measurement and subtract the bullet width which gives you a measurement from those two bullets from the middle of the hole.

I measure center to center of the farthest apart bullet holes using a software called On Target.  It gives you all the data if you want it.

I don't measure. I simply keep all the targets and compare.

I’m using Gordon’s Reloading Tool, which measures from the center of the holes.

shoot at a blank piece of paper and then draw in 1/2" diameter circles around each of the holes to show where I was aiming   O0

Take pics of the targets I'm wanting to measure, then use SubMOA Pro app.  Easy and very accurate!
