EDC backpack
« on: May 04, 2023, 12:11:51 AM »
I’m a huge fan of Kore belts already as many might have seen my posts on their belts. I ordered their Urban CC pack/backpack from them now. I have tried several backpacks in the past- peak design was my top pick for the past 2 years. I wear knack sometimes too when I travel. So went ahead and tried out this kore edc bag.

https://www.koreessentials.com/

So far it looks pretty cool. Tons of pocket storage and hidden compartments. I have my LEATHERMAN and pen in there this far and next want to try the magnets in the back for my gun. I travel a lot for work so this might be useful for all my gear and clothing. I’m going to give it a go this coming month when I fly to my work conference and see if I can fit my clothes and laptop. Seems like tons of entry points too for easy grab access- also rugged feel. I’ll post again once I actually try it out to see if it works.

Be careful you don't forget and leave ammo/magazines/pistol in the bag when you go to the airport.

I like the idea of a small backpack/shoulder bag.  I've got one with my old CZ75 Compact and various other stuff in it.  Another one with my Shield 9MM in it.  And the latest one has my Shield Plus and other stuff in it.  Each one gets a little bigger as I decide I want to add one thing or another in it.

I only carry them with me on road trips (my car/truck).  Extra mags/ammo, knife, flashlight/batteries, small cellphone charger and wire, IWB holster so I can conceal carry the pistol in the bag if I lose my primary carry pistol, small first aid kit, etc.
I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

Good point I think I will use this for local travel vs heading out of town…not sure I want to even chance that at the airport

Can't emphasize this enough. There's a US citizen currently in jail in the Turks & Caicos Islands, because airport customs/security/whatever there found some ammo in his EDC backpack that he forgot from a range trip.

Think about how small a 50-round box of 22LR is, then think about how much trouble a palm-full of cartridges can get you in when they're discovered on you at an airport. It'd be bad enough in the US and far worse in most places abroad where you may lack rights to due process.

Just need to play for the women’s nba and I’d get sent back home for a prisoner swap.
