Kadet II On SAO Frame
« on: October 04, 2021, 06:23:07 PM »
Almost left the CZ fold but my Kadet II made it too hard.  Running it on a SAO CZ 75 frame.  Pairs up nicely with a Nelson Custom 1911 conversion on a RIA frame I just got.  Now, if I could only find 22 ammo that does cost as much as 9MM used too.

Both brands work very well.  I would get an occasional FTE with the Kadet until I modded the ejector according to the stovepipe sticky.  Fixed that problem.

The Nelson Custom conversion takes a while to get and takes a while to get, but well worth the time the time and money.  Plus their customer service is excellent.  Somebody always picked up the phone whenever I called and answered any questions I had.

Nice thing about both conversions is they are both very accurate and work as long as the ammo goes bang when I pull the trigger.

Looks great AZ
I've been running my KADET on my B-SA Lower for years, and love it
So accurate it's scary
I love to take my lil'ol KADET to the Range and embarrass a Guy with his Ultra High Doller .22 Target Pistol   8)

My 1911 .22 Conversion Kit is a Series 80 Colt "ACE"
Would love a Marvel Precision Unit 1 or an Advantage Arms Target
So tell me again how Trump was worse then the 8 years before .... AND what's coming after HIM !

Kadet II mounted on a SAO CZ 75 frame makes for a great .22 pistol shooting experience (smooth and accurate).

Much better than other .22 off the shelf brands I had in the past. Although a SIG P210 with .22 conversion kit may nudge ahead on overall performance.

Question for you Bob Marvel Model 1 conversion kit people---

Never mind--it was the tapered magwell extension that was maybe .003" narrower than the frame magwell that was dragging on the polymer magazines.
