Looking for Extractors
« on: December 02, 2021, 05:28:52 PM »
I shoot > 10k 9mm a year through my practice Shadow and I like to replace the extractor periodically.    It seems like they are out of stock everywhere.    Anyone know what's going on?    Will there ever be more?

10K and replace recoil spring ok, 10K on the extractor is just getting broken in. I have 30K+ on my shadow, 21K on Czechmate still have the original extractor.

I compete in USPSA.    These numbers are not huge for many of us.

I hand load.   Bullets are readily available.    Even if powder is selling for double the "normal" price, it doesn't add much to the price of 9mm.   I had About 30# 2 years ago and have been able to find some since.    Primers are the only real issue.     I had 50k 2 years ago.   I'm down to about 12k and I've slowed down my shooting a bit this year.

I agree, extractors don't wear out much. Brass against steel, not a fair fight. My SP01 with over 12K doesn't show any wear.
