Have an opportunity to get a
CZ 75 SP-01 Shadow Target II in a trade, lnib. Have not shot one before. Anyone have any pros and cons about it? Looks like a well built beautiful firearm. Would it be absurd to carry one at times as a edc

Wow that's a nice one! Well, for a carry option, ya know that some folks even carry a full length 1911.
So it would be up to you.
The target rear sight might get into your body while carrying, depending on your rig.

It can be viable for carry with the right holster and clothing options. I know people who AIWB full-size steel-framed guns.

I have an SP01 tactical which is essentially the same dimensions and I can say IMO its completely unreasonable to carry but some people swear they can. To me a carry gun is one you actually want to carry and a shadow is not something I want on my hip unless im at a match.

That being said, get it its an awesome gun. What are you trading for it?

One of my favorite guns I've ever owned, shoots WAY better than me.
