I'm asking about the gun sold buy CZ as a complete gun. Is the lower an actual CZ frame or is it made by UMAREX?

Thanks

A couple of other characteristics of the CZ 75 Kadet.  It is all steel with steel magazines and a good adjustable rear sight.  I have around 50k through mine and it is still going strong.  I've had SIG .22 conversions and shot several other conversions that simply were not satisfactory.  The CZ 75 version is a fine firearm that will last a long time, not an aluminum conversion with polymer magazines, not that the polymer mags are that bad.  The CZ .22 barrel is fixed to the slide and only the bolt reciprocates to chamber a round so there is no slop from shot to shot.

I don't think the complete .22 Kadet 75 pistol is sold any longer.  You may have to buy a Kadet conversion kit and a standard 9mm 75B then put the conversion on the 75B frame and save the 9mm slide and magazines.  Or, do what I did and put a CGW 10x bushing in the 9mm slide and use is as a backup bullseye competition pistol, with the Kadet conversion as my primary rimfire bullseye match pistol.

I can't remember the exact year off the top of my head but it was discontinued quite a few years ago. Finding a used one is the only option. Separate Kadet kits are the only factory option now and it's been that way for quite a while.

dust off your google fu.  google is your friend.

check the gun auction/selling sites and google for it.

If you really want one, you will be doing alot of searching. how often is up to you.

Then be prepared to pay up.

If you want, you can look at some of the gun auction sites and look at past sold prices if any and see what others have opened their wallets for one.

Also, look at the various gun boards like this and see if they have any FS board.  Some may have a min number of posts to buy/sell like here or some maybe scammers too.  So just be aware of what you may get yourself into.

Go Get It!!!

Keep searching and you will prevail.

I searched like crazy last year and finally found a 75B SA (9mm) from a CZ Forum member. And I believe I found the Kadet 2 on Gunbroker. So, now I have a 9mm upper in the safe and a 75B SA Kadet up and running. Everything is great with this set up.

Check CZ Custom. They sell a 75SA Frame only waiting for a Kadet 2. I was unable to go this route as I live in Ca. That frame is identical to the 75B SA except for the SN. No Go in Ca.

Regardless, Go get one and have a blast.

Cheers,
Peter

The factory pistol has been stellar as far as reliability, accuracy and was used to introduce many new shooters to handgun shooting.

I put together the Kadet2 kit with the CZC Shadow frame a few years ago when the frames went on sale. It's not as reliable as the factory pistol but shoots just as well.

I did finally get one and it works great. I note that Antreg continues to offer these in the EU and CA, both complete guns and kits, including a 6" and gun. I find the slide a bit difficult to get used to but now we have the Laugo Alien which uses the same scheme.

I've notice the current Shadow 2 22 kit is a different design altogether compared to the Antreg. Any insights on this versus the Antreg?
