Still trying to understand this 'wall' in the DA pull, as I've never had that in any of my CZ's. There is the first partial-cock notch on the hammer which gives you a little 'click' when starting the DA pull with the hammer fully lowered. I've used that at times to partially 'prep' the trigger, but from there it's just an even pull through. So unless there's some stacking or grit/interference, the DA pull is one continuous and even motion, whether pulled fast or slower.
The decocker models lower the hammer to that partial-cock notch, so the DA pull from there is an even one with no click in the beginning of travel, but a little shorter than the hammer fully lowered. But you're talking about a Shadow 2. So are you saying that before, along the way in the DA sweep, you'd feel an extra pound or so of resistance where you'd be able to pause that pull and prep it before finishing the DA pull? I've never experienced that in a DA/SA CZ....or if it's there I never noticed it.
