I want to shorten my TS2 mag release and drill, tap, put in a pin so I can use a paddle from a TSO. Trying not to spend $75 or whatever for the TSO release. The Scotsman in me is coming out I guess.
So the question is how hard is the release? Standard drills and tap will work? If it is hardened how to soften then re-harden after the operation is done.
