Super cool!  What benefit does the "race hammer" offer?

I wish the TS series had accessory rails so you could add a frame weight further up on the gun.

It looks like you are using the standard CGW race hammer.  I don't know if that has the same wall as the CGW TS hammer?  I know that CGW advertises the TS hammer will increase your pull by about 1 lb.  I have two of them and they do have a more pronounced wall and are heavier than the stock CZ comp hammer.

If you want to increase your trigger pull reinstall your stock firing pin and main spring.  If you want to increase it further, install a 26lb Wolff main spring.  It comes with a heavier firing pin spring too (to counteract the heavier main).  There is no reason to install the ultralite kit on a SAO CZ TS.  The trigger pull is already too light!

Looks Good!  I'd be interested in hearing how the brass magwell holds up.  My stock aluminum one looks like it went to battle and lost.

Cheers,
Toby

Hey Toby!

I actually kept the stock TS TRS and on top installed a CZ75 TRS, much more positive reset and increases trigger pull. I did the Tanfo sear spring mod as well.
I messaged CGW about the difference between the 80010 Tactical Sport Hammer vs. 80003 Manual Safety Hammer, they said "The 80003 is narrowed at the top and is designed to produce a 3 and 1/2 pound SA break.  The 80010 is full width and produces about a 2 and 1/2 pound break." I am using the 80003 since according to CGW is has a heavier pull.

I might install the stock 20# HS, but I like the lighter hammer feel and impulse so first I will test out my loads on this setup. I might swap back to stock depending on the feel.
I will likely make one more pass at it before Friday range time as I expect a CZUB gold SAO trigger delivered tomorrow, and I will aim for 3# trigger, right now it sits at 2.5# but very crisp break.

bleep, if I had known the regular race hammer had more weight than the TS hammer I would have went that route!  It is still a step up from the stock CZ comp hammer but I still wish there was a more pronounced wall.

Cheers,
Toby

man, I dig your builds. Very nice. I increased my SAO trigger weight in one pistol for a more pronounced wall.
