Are CZ P10 strikers fully or partially cocked?
« on: July 17, 2022, 10:28:15 PM »
Got to try my buddy's P10F a couple times and liked it. The trigger pull on the CZ P10 is nicer than a regular Glock. But there is a detail I'm not sure about. Since I'm new to striker pistols, I'm not sure if the P10 series is fully or partially cocked when chambering a round. Given the slight grit in the wall you get with the middle of the trigger pull, I would have to guess the striker is partially cocked like a Glock. As I don't own a P10, I'm not entirely sure.

From what I know the P10 is partially cocked like a Glock. Others with much more knowledge than me will chime in though I bet.

Interesting... I always thought it was fully cocked. Thanks for the feedback.

The P10F,C&S are partially cocked. I can’t say for the M.

The trigger bar is also blocked by a pin when the trigger is not depressed.

Internally, the P10 and Glocks are constructed nothing alike, but the safety features are the same.
