Governor Kay for the win!

Last Thursday our wonderful Governor Mee Maw (Kay Ivey) signed the bill making constitutional carry the law here in Alabama. The knife rights group was able to get changes inserted into the bill that also make it legal now to carry a Bowie knife and larger pocket knives. The law will go into effect Jan. 1, 2023. I'll still keep my CCP for reciprocity though, since I do travel to neighboring states frequently.

Congratulations.  Good to see some states move in the direction of freedom and public safety while mine, WA, sprints in the opposite direction.
