P-10F 9mm question:  I put in a tungsten guide rod with a 1911 commander spring.  These spring seem a too long. Has anyone had problems with this length.

I can't answer, but I have a question for you.  Did you have to have the guide rod fit to the F?  Which one did you buy.  On that thought, why not just get the springs that CGW offers for their stainless guide rods?

W74guiderods.com has a P-10 F tungsten specific rod.
14lb commander 1911 length spring -  ejection is proper.

So just to clarify, you are saying the commander spring you already have ended up NOT being too long; you went out and tested it?

I did test and I am pleased with the function and recoil impulse. When assembling - it feels like stuffing a sausage. It’s not a straight linear line of coils. This is a popular setup in competition- it is just curiosity asking others who may have this un-captured guide rod setup.

I see.  Yea I have the DPM setup in mine and it's difficult to feed it into position at times.  I may pick up the Tungsten/commander setup though, just to compare.
