Difference between accessory rail of P 09 and P 10
« on: December 24, 2021, 08:53:00 AM »
I would like to install a frame weight and thumb rest from Toni System (https://www.tonisystem.it/en/cz-p10f/223/) onto my P09, but they only offer them for the P10, not for the P09.

I wonder if the difference between both accessory rails is that much so that the P10 weight will not fit the P09 rail? Any insights?

Looks like the P-09 has more slots than the P10 but I don't see why it wouldn't work just fine on the P-09.

I thought the original release of the P-10C has a Glock compatible rail rather than a 1913 rail, which have different dimensions, but everything I find now indicates that the P10 series do have 1913 rail.  The P-07 and P-09 definitely have 1913 rails so you should be good on the rail aspect of it, as long as that part that sits near the trigger guard isn't an issue.

Got my frame weight from Toni System and fitted it onto my P09. As the frame weight was designed for the P10, the P09 version does not exist, I had to adapt the weight because the dust cover of the P09 is a tad wider. Trimmed down the inner vertical surfaces 1/32' (0.7 mm) and added the 3D thumb rest. Great shooting now!  ;D
