P10 magazine release question

I have an older P10C with the original ambidextrous mag release.  Is it possible to swap to the newer single-side release?  Only asking out of curiosity about potentially installing an extended release button at some point.  My searching hasn't turned up an answer.

Im not positive about swapping the ambi to a reversible.... but im pretty sure APEX makes an ambi extended mag release

OEM ambi and later single side safeties aren't interchangeable. These are available though:
