Canik makes excellent Handguns and they've proven accurate, reliable, and durable.

I have two Canik made Pistols, the original Canik TP9V1 and a Canik made TriStar T120, the latter which is a Cz75 Variant Clone.
Both have proven to be excellent Handguns.  The Canik TP9V1 is a licensed Walther P99 AS variant, and my favorite CCW.
The TriStar T120 is a favorite IPSC Competition Pistol.

I have one of the first Caniks to make it to the US and it is basically a P01 with a safety. Since all my other guns are safety I sold my P01 and never looked. CZ makes fir it well although it did not go the other way as the Caniks would not lock into my P01 but had I done a TINY bit of filing they would have worked.  Feels and shoots just like my many CZs.

Although I'm not yet into plastic fantastics or striker fired it is a nice looker and I'm sure it shoots as well as the other Caniks I have fired.
When did it change from "We the people" to "screw the people"?

Why use 911 when it's faster to use 1911 or 9mm?

A friend of mine has one.  It's got an excellent trigger.  I don't need another 9mm.  If I did, it'd probably be a Canik.  Now, if they decide to make a .45......
PTC, but Pine Mtn will always be home.

TP9FSx is almost competition-ready out of box.  I've added a Freedomsmith Pro trigger + Galloway spring to make it 3-gun ready.  Not a bad deal at all considering I only invested less than $500 (pre Covid)
