They know it will be tied up in court for more years, and have replacement rules to roll out when these get struck down. However, it seems more and more federal judges are stepping up with Bruen in hand, so perhaps they won't HAVE to wait that long.

I'm hoping an injunction will be granted that will enable NYers to exercise their natural right to carry to some degree while this tyrannical abuse is battled out in court.  Of course, whatever the injunction decision it will be appealed to the 2nd Circuit, and whatever injunction decision the 2nd Circuit makes will be appealed to SCOTUS.  Unfortunately, Sotomayor, perhaps the lowest IQ individual to ever serve on SCOTUS, and a definite subversive, is assigned to the 2nd Circuit.  Will she enforce the SCOTUS's decision or subvert it to prolong the battle for the tyrants?
